December 18, 1937 – January 23, 2015 On Friday, January 23, 2015, Katherine Maksymiw of Edmonton passed away peacefully at the age of 77 years. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Peter (Rita) and Ivan; daughters, Rose Ann (Les) and Anna; her grandchildren, Les (Charlene), Nicole, Josh, Kayla, and Ashley; her great-grandchildren, Austin and Mason; sisters, Elise (John) and Mary (Wilf); brother, Eugene; as well as numerous relatives in Canada and Ukraine. Predeceased by her husband, John; and her son, Eugene. A special thank you to the nursing staff at the Edmonton General Hospital Unit 12Y for their many years of dedication and care.
