On May 30, 2017, Katie (Kathleen) Chichak of (Andrew) Wostok passed away at the age of 82 years. Katie is survived by her husband, Alex; two sons and two daughters, Marion Scott of Andrew, AB, Larry Chichak of Whitehorse, YK, Leeann (Michael) Znak of Bruderheim, AB, and Eric (Karen) Chichak of Andrew, AB; daughter-in-law, Tammy Chichak of St. Albert, AB; eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Mike Horobec of Lamont, AB, four sisters, Mary Fedun of Andrew, AB, Lilian Skiba of Lamont, AB, Pat (Alec) Kulchycki of Calgary, AB and Vienna (Jim) Oakes of Calgary, AB; and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Helen and Peter Horobec; brothers, John and Steve; five infant brothers; brothers-in-law, Joe Fedun, Don Skiba and Steve Kolowaski; one niece and one nephew. Divine Liturgy Monday, June 5 at 10:00 a.m. at Exaltation of the Holy Cross Ukrainian Catholic Church, Skaro, AB, Range Road 200, Highway 45, with interment in St. Michael the Archangel Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Range Road 180, Limestone, AB.
