It is with great sadness the family announces the peaceful passing of Leonarda Zatorski of Waskatenau, AB, formerly of Weasel Creek, AB, at the age of 84 years. Leonarda is survived by her loving children, Bernice Abraham of Edmonton, Russell (Marlene) of Spruce Grove, Henry (Peggy) of Waskatenau and Phyllis (Albert) Mastaler of Sherwood Park; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren and one on the way; sisters, Alma, Victoria and Alexandra; along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her husband, Adolph in 1994; son, Zenon in 2005; brother, Peter in 2009; daughter-in-law, Carol in 2000; grandson, Matthew Zatorski in 1981; and parents, John and Pearl Monczunski. Divine Liturgy Friday, November 25 at 1:00 p.m. at Descent of the Holy Spirit Ukrainian Catholic Church, Waskatenau. Reverend Slavko Dumec officiating with interment in Church Cemetery.
