Luong (Lucy) Thi Le

It is with great sadness that the family of Mrs. Luong (Lucy) Thi Le announce her passing on March 25, 2017, at the age of 60 years. She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Lucy is survived by her husband of 35 years, Xuan Hoang; two daughters, Kimberly Hoang (Don Burns) and Christine Huynh (Phong Huynh); granddaughters, Karissa Burns and Briella Huynh; mother, Tam Thi Tran; and several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Norm Hoang. Lucy put up a courageous fight against cancer after being diagnosed almost one year ago. She was a compassionate, selfless, loving person who cared for her family. She was passionate about cooking, gardening, travelling, yoga, and dancing. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends. Lucy will be forever loved and missed. We will always cherish the memories we have with her and keep her spirit alive. Prayer Service will be held on Thursday, March 30, at 7:00 p.m at Queen of Martyrs Catholic Church, 13210 – 133A Avenue, Edmonton with viewing one hour prior. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, April 1, at 10:30 a.m at Queen of Martyrs Catholic Church with interment in St. Michael's Cemetery. Although we appreciate your generosity, we are not accepting donations.
