It is with great sadness and heavy hearts, that the family of Milan Sakic announce his passing on Monday, October 30, 2017 at the age of 73 years. Milan is survived by his two daughters, Susan Sakic-Wozney (Peter Wozney) and Diane (David) Lynskey; three grandchildren, Tegan, Mikayla and Nikolas; the mother of his children, Boja Sakic; brothers and sisters, Smilja (Mile) Cubrilo, Dusan (Ljilja) Sakic, Nada Sakic and Mane (Adina) Sakic; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Milan is predeceased by his parents, Milka and Dragan; and sister, Mara Valentic. Prayer Service Monday, November 6 at 7:00 p.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton. Funeral Service Tuesday, November 7 at 1:00 p.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton with interment in St. Michael’s Cemetery.
