On March 9, 2016, Peter Olendy of Lamont, AB passed away at the age of 88 years. Peter is survived by son, Joe Olendy of Edmonton; daughter, Jeannie (Ron) Wychnenka of Pansy, MB; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and sister, Emily Olendy of Edmonton. Predeceased by his parents; daughter, Mary; brothers, Mike, John and Bill. Divine Liturgy Friday, March 18 at 10:00 a.m. at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church, Star-Peno, AB. Basilian Fathers officiating with Interment in Church Cemetery.
