On September 11, 2016 Rayphael DeCoste of Edmonton, formerly of Monastery, Antigonish County, NS, passed away at the age of 31 years. Rayphael is survived by his parents, Ellsworth and Yvonne; four brothers and two sisters, Dahlia DeCoste and Justin Breen of Halifax, Ashley DeCoste of Edmonton, Ellsworth (Pook) DeCoste and Melanie Greencorn of Edmonton, Jed DeCoste of Lower South River, Kyle DeCoste of Monastery and Austin DeCoste of Monastery; nieces and nephews, Emily Breen, Autumn DeCoste, Alex Boyle, Audrey Boyle and Myla DeCoste; and grandfather, Ray Mattie of Monastery. Predeceased by maternal grandmother, Shirley Mattie; paternal grandmother, Helen DeCoste; paternal grandfather, James DeCoste; and godmother, Alva DeCoste. Mass of Christian Burial Monday, September 19 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church, Hwy 4, Tracadie, NS with interment in St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church Cemetery, Tracadie, NS. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association or the charity of one’s choice.Obituary
