It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, Satpaul Singh Nayyer on April 12, 2016. Satpaul will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Santosh (nee Kumra); daughters, Anita (Ross) and Kim (Parminder); grandchildren, Sameena, Akash, Kaiyan and Tara; step-grandchildren, Grayson and Parker; brothers, Avtar, (Raj Rani), Jatinder (Sushma); and sisters, Jagjit (Kuldip) and Surjit (Inderjit). Predeceased by brothers, Partap (Prithepal) and Prithvi; and sister, Manjit (Joginder). Satpaul was a true pioneer, leaving India as a young teacher in 1960 and built a wonderful life and career in Peace River, AB. After retirement Satpaul and Santosh left Peace River to settle in Edmonton to be close to family and grandchildren. Funeral Service Sunday, April 17 at 1:30 p.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton. Cremation to follow.
