Svetozar Djukich Obituary
On November 10, 2015, Mr. Svetozar “Duke” Djukich of Edmonton passed away peacefully at the age of 91 years.
Duke is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Sophie; sons, Wes (Rosanda), Rod (Marlena) and Dan (Rita); grandchildren, Daniel, Bianca, Dejan, Ryan, Tara, Juliana and Stella; siblings, Bozidar, Staka and Mica; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Milanovich; numerous relatives including nephew, Vladimir Djukic and family; and niece, Ljilja Mitrovic and family.
Prayers Sunday, November 15 at 6:00 p.m. at PARK MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 9709 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton.
Funeral Service Monday, November 16 at 12:00 p.m. at St. Vladimir’s Russian Orthodox Church, 6824 - 128 Avenue, Edmonton. Very Reverend Archpriest Andrew Kencis officiating with interment in St. Michael’s Cemetery. Friends who so wish may make memorial donations to St. Vladimir’s Russian Orthodox Church or to the Alberta Cancer Foundation.
