It is with deep sadness the family announces the passing of Thomas Ralph Eichhorn of Mayerthorpe after a long and courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, May 1, 2016, at the age of 50. Tom will be always loved and remembered by his wife of 15 years, Cynthia; children, William, Dartanian, Geneva and Gabriel; parents, Ralph and Sharie; sister, Tammy (Ron); brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Tom was predeceased by his first wife, Debbie, all his grandparents and father-in-law Allan. Tom was dedicated to his family and community. He served 35 years as a volunteer in the Fire Services, owned and managed together with Cynthia their businesses Uptown Auto and Thyme for Health ‘n Herbs in Mayerthorpe, and served endless hours serving in his local church. Prayer Service Monday, May 9 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, 4811 - 49 Avenue, Mayerthorpe. A Funeral Mass will be held for Tom on Tuesday, May 10 at the Mayerthorpe Diamond Centre, 4814 – 54 St., starting with a Firemen’s ceremonial march at 12:30 p.m. Burial at the Mayerthorpe Cemetery.
