Fifteen days short of her 95th birthday, Veronica Holowach of Mundare, formerly of Bruderheim, AB passed away on March 5, 2016. Veronica is survived by her three sons and three daughters, David (Sonia), Milton (MaryAnn), Ernie (Sherry); Elizabeth Letwin, Geraldine (Barry) Tychkowsky, and Christine (Gary Pearce) Luchka; sixteen grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; two sisters, Lennie (John) Chichak, Pauline (Stan) Skubleny; sisters-in-law, Annie Zacharko, Sophie Zacharko, Sylvia Zacharko, Lucy Holowach, Olga Holowach, Syliva J. Zacharko. Predeceased by her husband, Bill (2002); her parents, Fred and Catherine; grandson, Curtis Holowach (2015); brothers, Walter, Andrew, Mike, Jack (Minnie), Alec (Pearl), Ed and Paul; sister Jean (Peter) Ozubko, Frances, Alice (Harry) Kotylak, Marie (Bill) Palsat. The family would like to thank Sister Martha and her staff at St. Joseph’s Home for taking such good care of mom, as well as the staff at Mary Immaculate Care Center for their compassionate care of mom in the last twenty months. Prayers Wednesday, March 9 at 7:00 p.m. at Holy Cross Ukrainian Catholic Church, Skaro, AB Divine Liturgy Thursday, March 10 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Ukrainian Catholic Church, Skaro, AB with interment in Church Cemetery.
