Alice Bahuaud Innisfail, Alberta Obituary

Alice Bahuaud

Bahuaud, Alice Mary November 4, 1942 to June 14, 2017 It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Alice Mary Bahuaud, formerly of Port Alberni on June 14, 2017 after a courageous battle with COPD. She is survived by her son Richard (Darla) and grandchildren Nicolas and Kelsey, sister Jeanette (Mark) Brett, sister in-law Emma, brother in-law Norman Bahuaud, sister in-law Doreen (George) Tisserand and numerous other family members and friends. Alice was predeceased by her husband and friend Leonard Bahuaud, parents Roland and Marie Payette and siblings Michelle and Florence. Alice spent her younger years camping and travelling with Len and other family and friends. In 2016 after the passing of Len (in 2015), she moved to Alberta to be with her son and daughter in-law and to be closer to her grandchildren. Nothing put a bigger smile on her face than a trip shopping for the day or an occasional afternoon at the casino. She enjoyed the afternoon beer with her son on the deck. She grew close to her new daughter in-law and shared a lot of laughs. Alice was met with open arms by her extended Alberta family. It was with great sadness that she left us so soon. Alice was a cherished wife, mother and grandmother. She will be missed by all. No service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the COPD Foundation.
