Ann Doering

Mrs. Ann Louisa Doering, beloved wife of Mr. Les Doering, passed away peacefully at the Innisfail Health Centre, Innisfail, Alberta on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at the age of 82 years. Ann was born on December 6, 1936 in Saint-Chrysostome, Quebec to James and Margaret Baskin, and grew up on the family farm. In 1959, she came out West to visit family in Calgary, Alberta, and never left. She soon after met Les Doering and they married in July 1961. Together, they raised two sons in Calgary. In 1976, they made the move to Innisfail, where they remained ever since. Ann will be lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, Les Doering; her sons, Dwayne Doering and Dale (Linda) Doering; and her granddaughter, Chantel. She will also be sadly missed by her siblings, Betty, Patsy, Walter and Irvin, all of Quebec, George of British Columbia and Alvin and Dawn, of Alberta; as well as many nieces and nephews. Ann was predeceased by her parents and her sisters, Diana and Bernice. A Celebration of Ann’s Life will be held at the Innisfail Alliance Church, 4804 – 42 Avenue, Innisfail Alberta on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. If desired, Memorial Donations in Ann’s honor may be made directly to the Parkinson Association of Alberta at www.parkinsonassociation.ca.
