In Loving Memory of Betty Jean McMillan 1932 - 2013 With loving arms embraced around our mom, Kevin and Donna said farewell to her on Wednesday evening June 5th, 2013. Betty was born in Didsbury, Alberta on Oct 13, 1932. Mom was predeceased by her loving husband John as well as her son Arnie. She also was predeceased by her six sisters, Dina, Florence, Doris, Gladys, Christina and Ivy, her parents George and Ethel Mayes, as well as many other friends and family. She leaves to celebrate her life: Donna Kjorsvik and Don Anderson of Bowden; Kevin and Maureen (Upton) McMillan of Edmonton; the greatest loves of her life her grandchildren and great grandchildren; Jason (Grace)Kjorsvik, Kris Kjorsvik (Ty Braun), Kelsey McMillan, Natalie McMillan, John Kjorsvik, Kylie Kjorsvik and Syndey Braun. Mom held a very special place in her heart for her brother-in-law Cecil Akre, her dear friends Jo Kearney, Marie Griffiths and mom’s loving daughter-in-law Lynn Hammer Cross as well as her loving care givers at the Olds Long Term Care Centre. At Mom's request and wishes there will be no service for her. She was loved by so many and we appreciate your respect as well as ours to honour her wish. We love you mom, give a hug to our dad and our brother as you are reunited again. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Betty Jean McMillan's honor to the Olds Hospital Long Term Care.
