Diane Lynn Czuy
DIANE LYNN CZUY August 14, 1948 – May 31, 2017 Mrs. Diane Lynn Czuy (nee) Emery passed away peacefully at the age of 68 at the Dulcina Hospice in Calgary on May 31, 2017 with her loving husband of 49 years and her puppy Peaches by her side, after a long and courageous 7 year battle of lung cancer that in the latter stages spread to her ribs. Diane had great help with her battle from the staff at Unit 47/46 at the Foothills Hospital and the staff at Dulcina Hospice. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 49 years, Donald Czuy, and her special puppy, Peaches. Diane also leaves to mourn her son Gordon (Natalia) Czuy and their daughter Olivia. She is also survived by her father Gordon Emery, her two sisters Penny (Gordon) Ogilvie and Sherrie Emery (Loewen) and six grandchildren and twelve nieces and nephews. Diane was predeceased by her mother Shirley Irene Emery nee Mcphee and her son Darryn. A Memorial service will be held at St. Marks Anglican Church, Innisfail, Alberta on July 5, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Tom Baker Cancer Centre, 1331-29 St. N.W.
