Leonard Keith McColl

Mr. Leonard Keith ‘Len’ McColl passed away at Canmore, Alberta on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at the age of 70 years. Len was born in Innisfail, Alberta to Eva and William McColl, and took his schooling in Caroline, Alberta. Len had a wild spirit; which led him to driving truck across our vast country, enjoying each new adventure. He was massively loving, with the biggest heart. His time with family was treasured beyond measure, and he never ceased to entertain. For many, he was the funniest man alive. His later years were spent with countless walks around scenic Canmore with his fluffy companion, Charlie, the dog; who was not only loved by Len, but adored by many of the Town Residents. Len will be lovingly remembered by his son, Harry (Sheri); his sister, Wilma Michalsky; his nephews, Stephen (Laura), Blaine (Vanette) and Colin; his two great nephews, Colin and Isaac and his great niece, Jessica. Len was predeceased by his parents, William ‘Bill’ and Eva and a brother-in-law, Emil Michalsky. A Graveside Service will be held at the Innisfail Cemetery, Innisfail, Alberta on Friday, August 14, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. Family and friends are invited to arrive at Hearthand Funeral Services and process to the Innisfail Cemetery. A Memorial Service will follow at Heartland Funeral Services Chapel, 4415 – 49 Street, Innisfail, Alberta at 12:00 p.m. If desired, Memorial Donations in Len’s honor may be made directly to the Central Alberta Humane Society, 4505 - 77 Street, Red Deer, Alberta T4P 2J1.
