LEONARD MOBERG 1940 - 2016 Leonard Oscar Moberg passed away with his family by his side after a battle with cancer at the age of 76 years. He was born on November 4, 1940 in Swift Current, SK. Len will be remembered by his loving wife of 53 years Sharon; their children, Lorrie (Wayne) Sparks, Patty (Dwayne) Simpson, and Larry (Pam) Moberg; grandchildren, Brett (Meghan) Sparks, Reed (Tanis) Sparks, Melissa (Kirk) Williscroft, Riley Simpson, Bailey Simpson, Kael Moberg, Ella Moberg, and Colby Moberg; great grandchildren, Layne Sparks, Cooper Sparks, and Von Williscroft; his brothers Dale (Elita), Garry (Elaine), Garth, Wendell (Wendy), and his sister Marilyn (Trevor) Mitchell; his sister-in-law Sue (Dennis) Roosen, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father and mother Oscar and Eileen, one sister Ruth, and his father and mother-in-law Don and Helen Peterson. A Celebration of Len's life will be held at the Innisfail United Church (4720 48th Ave) on Saturday December 3, 2016 @ 11:00 a.m. Len's family would like to thank Dr. Odendaal and the staff at the Red Deer Hospice Society for your compassion and care given. If friends and family so desire, memorial tributes may be made on Len's behalf to the Red Deer Hospice Society.
