Mr. Lloyd Miller passed away unexpectedly on January 1, 2016 at the age of 84 years. Lloyd was the first New Years Baby in Winnipeg on January 1, 1932. Lloyd was born to William and Margaret Miller. Lloyd will be remembered by his wife of 52 years Doris and his children Valerie Anne Miller and Michael Patrick Miller and two grandchildren Jordan and Kayla. Lloyd was predeceased in death by his parents; brothers Bill, Jimmy and brother in law Art Peters; sisters Mary, Jean, and Margaret and sisters in law Ruth and Florence. Lloyd is also survived by his only brother Steve Miller from Nanaimo, B.C.

Lloyd was a very special father and husband that came into this world on New Years Day and decided to leave this world on this very special New Years Day. Lloyd loved the Military Service starting out at a young age in the Air Force and continuing with his career and family throughout Alberta only to come full circle with many years committed to working with the young Air Cadets at Penhold Air Force Base for 27 years as transportation officer.

A memorial service was held at the Innisfail United Church on Friday, January 8, 2016. Memorial donations may be made to the Innisfail Legion or to the 7 Penhold Royal Canadian Air Force Squadron.
