Mrs. Marian ‘Marianne’ Banks passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Friday, April 24, 2020 at the age of 51 years. Marianne was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba to Kalman and Mary Agg on November 28, 1968, where she began her schooling. In 1977, the family moved to Calgary; where she began her friendship with Kelly Banks, in grade three, when she asked him to be her friend. Three and a half years later, the family moved to Airdrie. Marianne and Kelly kept up their friendship through the years. She married Kelly, the love of her life, in September of 1995. They eventually moved to Innisfail, Alberta; where she enjoyed camping, being outdoors, family functions and all of her beloved dogs. Marianne had the kindest heart and the sweetest smile, as well as a wonderful sense of humor. Her advice was always well received by everyone, even the sarcastic kind of advice. Marianne cherished all of her family, as they did her. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband and best friend, Kelly, her daughter, Candyce (Kade) Oakley of Innisfail, her son, Tyler Banks (Alixandra) of Edmonton, Alberta, her mother, Mary Agg, her mother-in-law, Lorraine Lewis, her mother-in-law, Marian Breeze and her sisters, Theressa (Scott) Vandeven and Susan (Bhagwan) Dass. She will also be sadly missed by her niece, Stephanie (Tyler), her nephews, Lukas, Jaydon (Sabrina), Joshua and Dallas, her great niece and nephew, Peyton and Nathan; her brother-in-law, Cory (Wendy), and her favorite aunt and uncle, Norman and Gloria Guimond; as well as the other Guimond and Banks family members. Marianne was predeceased by her father, Kalman Agg, a granddaughter, Bexley, a brother, Mark Agg and her father-in-law, Randall Banks. Marianne would want us to all remain safe and healthy during these uncertain times; so we will gather at a later date to hold a Celebration of her Life.
