Marlin Cameron Obituary

Marlin Lorne Cameron 1961 - 2016 Mr. Marlin Lorne Cameron of Innisfail, AB passed away suddenly at the age of 55, surrounded by his family. He was born on July 9, 1961 in Swift Current Sask. He resided in the Innisfail area, until moving to the family farm, where he lived out the rest of his life. Marlin accomplished his dream of owning a small engine repair shop, where he was able to pursue his passion of mechanics and restoration. Marlin’s life was devoted to his family by taking care of his wife and three daughters. He shared a special bond with each one of his grandchildren, through tricks, jokes, cuddles and handshakes. Marlin was a big man, with an even bigger heart. He is survived by his loving wife Peggy, daughters Amy (Andrew), Katie (Jason), Holly (Kelly), grandchildren Brooke, Dylan, Harlyn; Dayvie, Jaylynn; Elliot & Karley. He is also survived by his mother Betty Cameron (Lawrence), sister Brenda Stevenett, mother-in-law Joan Green (Glen), sisters-in-law Cindy Klatt, Patty Zimmerman as well as numerous neices, nephews and extended family and friends. Marlin was predeceased by his father Lorne Cameron, sister Michelle, father-in-law Jim Klatt, brother-in-law David Klatt as well as granddaughter Laura. The family would like to thank the first responders, IHC staff, as well as the Foothills Critical Cardiology team. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
