Marvin George Palmer of Innisfail passed away on May 1, 2014 at the age of 87 years. Marvin was born in the Knee Hill Valley district on September 15, 1926. Marvin will be forever known for his many years as a school bus driver, his love for farming and who also had the first Charlois cows in the area. He had a wonderful sense of humour and a strong work ethic and will be sorely missed by all. He will be lovingly remembered by all his family, friends and neighbours. He was predeceased by his father George, mother Dorothea, sister Mildred (Gordon), first wife Isabelle and second wife Pearl. A Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 9, 2014 at 1:00pm at the Innisfail Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 104, with Pastor Mark Goodbrand officiating.
