Mary Fairn May 9, 1923 – March 14, 2016 Mrs. Mary Fairn of Bowden, Alberta passed away at the Innisfail Health Care Centre on March 14, 2016 at the age of 92 years. How does one sum up 92 years of wonderful in one paragraph? Mary was born in Round Hill, Nova Scotia and was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She touched so many lives by her kindness as well as through her music. Mary will be sadly missed by her daughter: Susan (Garry) Ellis; granddaughter: Sarah and her two great granddaughters: Mary-Lou and Abigail Mackinnon of Bowden and by a son: David and her grandsons: David Jr. and Jason Fairn and one great grandson: David. She was predeceased by her husband Murdo and brothers: Russel, Lawrence and Ike Spurr. She will also be missed by her sisters: Ruth, Susan and a brother Bernard. A Memorial service will be held at St. Marks Anglican Church, Innisfail, Alberta on Monday, March 21 , 2016 at 2:00 p.m. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made to a children’s charity of their choice.
