Mr. Norman James ‘Norm’ Heisler of Innisfail, Alberta, passed away at the Rosefield Centre, Innisfail on Thursday, October 8, 2020 at the age of 85 years. Norm was born in Humboldt Saskatchewan, a twin to his brother, Roman. He grew up in Humboldt, prior to the family’s move to Burnaby. Norm married in 1958, had two sons, Jerome and Gary, and a daughter, Bernice, and moved to Edmonton soon after. In 1971, a third son, Dean was born. Norm worked as a Heavy Duty Equipment Operator throughout his life. After retirement, he moved to Sechelt, British Columbia. Norm returned to Innisfail, Alberta in 2016 and resided at the Rosefield Centre. Norm will be lovingly remembered by his children, Gary (Kerry) Heisler of Benalto, Alberta, Bernice Heisler of Edmonton, Alberta and Dean Heisler of Spring Lake, Alberta; as well as his five grandchildren. He will also be sadly missed by his twin brother, Roman, his sister, Anita and numerous other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Norm was predeceased by a son, Jerome, his parents, Susan and Jacob Heisler and his sisters, Josie and Anne.
