Stanley Holt

Stanley Clarence Holt passed away peacefully at the Rosefield Centre on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at the age of 89 years. Stan was born and raised in the Knee Hill Valley District where he raised his family. He was an avid sportsman winning many trophies in bowling and horseshoes where he held the title of Provincial B Champion for many years. Stan shared his love of music, he played and sang at many wedding anniversaries, weddings and dances. His guitar was never far away, just in case someone requested to hear a song or do some jamming. Stan was predeceased by his wife Ruby in December 2009 and one grandson Sean in 1984. Stan is survived by his sisters Ethel Goldstrom and Edna (Keith) Sveinson; Stan’s immediate family Darryle (Betty) Holt, Cheryle (Rick) Ell, Rick (Shelly) Holt and Dixie Holt along with their families wish to thank everyone for their prayers and thoughts.
