Surrounded by her family, Theresa Mary Lohman, age 55 of Edmonton, passed away on Sunday, August 23rd, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born January 04th 1960, in Calgary, Alberta to Margaret and the late H.W. (Bill) Lohman. Theresa graduated from Innisfail Jr./Sr. High School in Innisfail, Alberta with the class of 1977. On August 4th 1980, she was united in marriage to Noel St. Jean in Innisfail, Alberta. In 1981 she convocated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and shortly after began working as a Registered Nurse. She excelled in many healthcare fields; ranging from postpartum and emergency care, to the role of manager of the Communicable Disease Team at Alberta Health. She never let the grass grow beneath her feet. Theresa developed lasting friendships and inseparable bonds with many people in and around the various communities of Northern Alberta, where she and her family resided. She enjoyed gardening, curling, bowling and simply spending time with family and friends. Her daughters were the light of her life and she theirs. She is survived by her three daughters; Nicole St. Jean of Athabasca, Michelle St. Jean of Edmonton, Ashley St. Jean of Edmonton and their father Noel St. Jean of Athabasca; her mother Margaret Lohman of Innisfail; five brothers, Bernard (Hildegard) Kuhlmann of Greven, Germany, Victor (Laurie) Lohman, Vince (Wanda) Lohman, Rudy (Lucille) Lohmann, and Philipp Kuhlmann, (all of Innisfail) as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, and close friends. Theresa was also preceded in death by her nephew Bernard Lohman. Family and friends gathered to celebrate her life on Saturday, August 29th at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church at 1:00pm.
