Mrs. Verna Theresa Martin passed away at the Innisfail Health Centre on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at the age of 85 years. Verna was born on July 28, 1934 in Star City, Saskatchewan, the second daughter born to James and Celina Patterson. Verna moved to Bowden when she was ten years old and moved to Innisfail a few years later. Verna married Floyd Martin on October 12, 1957 and resided in Innisfail, until her passing. She drove school bus for many years; enjoying all the children that she got safely to school every day. Verna will be lovingly remembered by her son, Rod Martin, her sister, Ann Thorsen and her brother-in-law, Norman Phillips; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Verna was predeceased by her parents, James and Celina, her husband, Floyd, a sister, Marg, a brother, Jim and a brother-in-law, Tony.
