William Deneff

Deneff, William (Bill) Sr. August 28, 1925 – July 8, 2016 Mr. Bill Deneff Sr. passed away peacefully at the age of 90 years on July 8, 2016 in Innisfail, Alberta. Bill was born in Ostritza, Bulgaria and emigrated with his family to Canada in 1928 to settle in southern Saskatchewan. After the challenges of farming during the 1930’s, Bill pursued a successful career as a mechanic and owned and operated Bill’s Super Service until he retired in 1986. Bill’s sense of humor and willingness to engage in conversation brightened the days of many people. His passions in life included coaching and watching baseball, dancing, and camping in the mountains. Memories of Bill will continue to live with family and friends whose lives were enriched with his presence. Bill is survived by his loving wife Lois of nearly 63 years; a son Bill (Carrie) and their son Steven, a daughter: Eva; and Joan’s (Russ) children: Angie, Krista and Krista's son Caleb. He was predeceased by two daughters: Valerie and Joan, his parents, two brothers and one sister. A Funeral Service will be at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #104 on Friday, July 15, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider making donations to the Innisfail Minor Baseball Association.
