DOHL, Barbara “Barb” 1948 – 2019 Mrs. Barbara ‘Barb’ Jeanne Dohl passed away at the Red Deer Hospice on Sunday, June 9, 2019 at the age of 70 years. Barb was born in Saskatchewan, and raised in British Columbia. She spent most of her life as a homemaker; raising her children. Barb was a proud member of the Riverside Meadows Community Centre for over fifteen years. She ran the Skate Shack, as well as many other events. Barb received Mayor’s Recognition Award on June 6, 2019 for “Community Builder”. She was kind, caring and had a heart of gold. Barb was always helping those who needed it; she didn’t care what background you came from. Barb was an amazing woman who will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. Barb will be lovingly remembered by her husband, John Dohl; her sons, Robert Dohl, and Kenneth Dohl, both of Red Deer and Clifford Dohl of Abbotsford, British Columbia; her daughters, Rhonda Larsen, Paula Hopper and Tasha King, all of Red Deer; sixteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. Barb was predeceased by her parents; sisters, Judy Fromm and Irene Feltham; a brother, Gord Feltham, as well as a niece, Tammy Kun. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the First Church of the Nazarene, 2 McVicar Street, Red Deer, Alberta on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. Condolences may be sent or viewed at www.parklandfuneralhome.com.
