Eilene Petranella Daney

Eilene Petranella Daney age 69, passed away with her children by her side at Lion’s Gate Hospital, North Vancouver on Thursday July 27th . She is lovingly remembered by her son Leighton(Carmen)Daney, daughter Nicole(Mark)Daney, Grandchilden McKinley, Neve and Kenyan, Sister Madeline Freeman and Brother Henry Gunterman, Nephews, friends and extended families all around her. She is predeceased by husband Kenneth Daney (passed in 1983) and husband Edwin Bushby (passed 2006). She has always fought for herself, her beliefs, and her families, whoever they may be. The changes she made in her life in the last year were a true representation of her strength, perseverance and beauty. She not only helped herself but her children, grandchildren, family and friends see the beauty around us and tell us we need to realize it Mom had such a positive and beautiful influence on her friends, family and extended families in her new home of Squamish as well as the Arrow Lakes area. There will have a celebration of Eilene in Squamish on Friday, July 5th at 3:30pm at the Squamish Funeral Chapel as well as a Celebration of Eilene for friends and family in Nakusp BC, Saturday August 3rd location TBA.
