It is with great sadness that the family of Arnie Ducharme announce his passing on May 28, 2020, at the age of 84 years. He will be greatly missed by his daughter Shelly (Gord) Rudd, grandson Kris (Janine) Ryan and great grandchildren Destyn, Kasyn and Skylyn. Also a special bond with his sister Louise, cousins Lester, Carol, Christine and Terrance, and niece Myrna. Arnie was born in Herbert, SK on September 15, 1935 ,to Jack and Ragna (Solberg) Ducharme. Marrying Marie Hallborg and celebrating 58 years of marriage until her passing on May 9, 2015. Working in electrical most of his life. Living in Chaplin and Churchbridge, SK, Thompson, MB and Creighton, SK. Dad loved music and played fiddle, banjo, guitar. He was an avid rock hound and ham radio operator. Dad was a real character to all who really knew him. Always loved a great conversation and a few good jokes. Loving garage sales and hunting down a deal. But he will always be my “favourite antique”. Thank you to all who took time to really get to know my dad. I will forever miss our 10:10 p.m. phone calls. Never to say goodbye but “Pass a good one” was his cliché. Thank you to the staff at the Flin Flon General Hospital, St. Paul’s Hospital in Saskatoon, and all who provided care. Also thank you to Dadson Funeral Home.
