Eldon Rintoul

Passed away at the Tiger Hills Personal Care Home in Treherne, MB on Friday November 8, 2019 at the age of 79 years, Eldon Reid Rintoul of Treherne, MB. Eldon leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife Georgina (nee Painter), sons Rodney (Susan) of Huxley AB, Peter (Diane) of Treherne MB, Christina (Thomas) Hounsome of Winnipeg MB, grandchildren Corey (Ami), Jody (Soren), Jeremy (Carly), Travis (Ainsley), Darcy (Daniella), Alicia (Devin), Patricia, Tyler (Meghan) &Wayne as well as 14 great grandchildren & 3 great great grandchildren. Eldon is also mourned by his siblings Lorne (Colleen), Wayne (Betty), Danny (Louise), Vivian (Harley) Henry, Ken (Pat), sister-in-law Edna Rintoul & brother-in-law Helmut Schroeder; brothers-in-law Ron (Leona) Painter, Thomas Painter & Bernard Blaine and by sisters-in-law Patricia Walsh (John) & Orlia Painter. Eldon was predeceased by his parents, John & Lorna, granddaughter Kimberly Hounsome, brothers Mel, Tom, Glen & Bruce, sisters Maxine Schroeder & Phyllis Askin, sisters-in-law Barb Rintoul, Allison Rintoul, Patricia Rintoul, & Lorraine Rintoul & by brothers-in-law Calvert Sawyer & Ernie Askin; father & mother-in-law George & Lorna Painter, sisters-in-law Helen Gmitrowski, Joan Blaine and Myrna Painter and by brothers-in-law Thadeus Gmitrowski, Lorne Painter & Colin Moffat. A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday November 12, 2019 at the Treherne United Church at 1:00 p.m. with Heather Grobb officiating. Interment to follow in the Rossendale Cemetery. Following the interment, a reception will take place in the Treherne Community Hall. Everyone is welcome. Friends that so desire, memorial donations can be made in Eldon's memory to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, Unit 4B-457 9th St. Brandon, MB, R7A 1K2 or to a charity of one's choosing.
