Peacefully at the Tiger Hills Care Home in Treherne on Tuesday November 19th, 2019 Phyllis Mary Robinson of Treherne, passed away at the age of 96. Phyllis leaves to cherish her memory her 3 daughters, Donna (Lawrence) Zeghers, Frances Marginet, and Cheryl (Pat) Vennard, her grandchildren Kim, Stacey (Lee), Kelly (Joe), Chris (Shannon), Brad (Jody) and Brittney, and her great grandchildren, Megan, Logan, Dylan, Brooklynn, Halle, Nolan, and Mila. She also leaves her sister-in-law Lillian Robinson and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband George, her parents Lex and Agnes Oliver, and son-in-law Les Marginet. Phyllis was raised on a farm in the Camille district. After she married George, they moved to a farm south of Treherne. In 1972 they moved to Treherne. In 2012 Phyllis left the house and moved to the Legion Lodge until she moved to the Care Home. While George was alive, they did lots of travelling (Hawaii, Israel, Ireland) When they quite travelling, they spent their winters in Arizona. Phyllis enjoyed her coffee. She used to walk downtown twice a day to sit and have coffee with many different ladies. She also enjoyed baking. Her chocolate chip cookies were the best. Phyllis was an avid reader which she passed on to her 3 daughters and grandchildren. Funeral service will be held on Monday December 2, 2019 at the Treherne United Church at 2:00 p.m. with Heather Grobb officiating. Interment will take place in the Bethel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
