It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Arnold Kopp, aged 88 years, on February 20, 2020 at his home. He is survived by three children Diana Hagyard (Ray), Sandra Skrumeda, Gregory Kopp (Darcie), 6 grandchildren Caitlyn (Brendin), Christopher (Angie), Kristen, Jayna, Krystal, Kerra, and 2 great grandchildren Paislee and Kitana. He is also survived by 2 sisters (Jenny and Lucy), 2 brothers (Arthur and Garry) and their families. Arnold was born in Poland on June 21st, 1931 and came to Canada with his family at a very young age. He spent his childhood years in the RM of Brokenhead, Lydiatt. During his 20's and 30's Arnold worked a variety of construction jobs in Manitoba, British Columbia and Alberta. He returned to Manitoba to raise his family in Beausejour in the mid 60's and in 1973 moved to the family farm in the RM of Springfield (Hazelridge) where he resided until his passing. Arnold also worked full time driving transport truck for many years - something he absolutely loved to do. Arnold will be remembered as a strong willed and hardworking individual who will be missed dearly. Cremation has taken place and as per dad's wishes, no formal service will be held. Interment will follow at a later date. Rest in Peace Dad.
