Amelia Buck Obituary

Amelia was born Thursday, March 24, 1932 at Cedar Lake , Manitoba. Mom was united in marriage to our late dad John Peter Buck on July 31, 1950 at Moose Lake, Manitoba. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Mom was always a housewife. She loved to cook, clean and bake. Mom’s house was always open to anyone. She always had tea, coffee, bannock or something to eat. Her children, grandchildren and cha-pans would always stop by and she would give them treats. Mom was an ACW member, her faith in God was strong. She respected all faiths and all prayers were sent and heard from the same God. Mom had many teachings, she would sit down with her children, grandchildren, cha-pans and tell them of life’s challenges and the importance of living a good life. Mom passed away peacefully, Friday, August 30, 2013 at St. Anthony’s General Hospital, The Pas, with her family by her side, at the age of 81 years.
