Angela James Obituary

Angela was a great daughter, granddaughter, great granddaughter, sister, mother, auntie, niece, friend and companion. She was a super special person. Angela was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Sunday, December 23, 1984. She would have been 28 this December. She lived in The Pas most of her life and got along with everyone she met. Angela was the mother of 3 daughters, Rochelle 10, Alexandra 6 and Phoenix 5. She loved her girls and they know she is with the Angels. Angela proudly met her goal of graduating from grade 12 in June 2010 from the Kelsey Adult Learning Center. Her next goal was to attend UCN for the business management course. She finally got her driver’s licence and vehicle 3 months ago after trying for 10 years. She was so happy and life was falling into place. Angela passed away unexpectedly Friday, August 24, 2012 at St. Anthony’s Hospital, The Pas, Manitoba, at the age of 27 years. Angela will be missed dearly by her daughters Rochelle, Alexandra and Phoenix; mother Lisa Beauregard and stepdad Ken McMaster; father Robin James; sisters Shaundelle Devenny (Eli), Amanda Beauregard (Chris), Tiffany Beauregard; brother Lance Beauregard; grandparents Betty and Leonard Sprackman, Ellen and Dave McFarlane; great grandma Evelyn Russell who is 103; aunts and uncles Shannon Nirwarski (Dean), Ray, Darwin, Bradley, Sinclair, Thomas, David and John; cousins Devon, Destiny, Parker, Wilson, Dawson; nieces Elise, Emily; nephew Ezra; and companion Darcy Lathlin. A wake service was held Friday, August 31, 2012 at 7:00 pm at the Church of Messiah, Opaskwayak Cree Nation, Manitoba. The funeral service for Angela was held Saturday, September 1, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Cathedral, The Pas, Manitoba with James Hemauer presiding. Music ministry was provided by Mike Jebb Jr.. Memories of the heart were shared by Angela’s sisters Shaundelle, Amanda and Tiffany. Scripture reading was proclaimed by Marlene Head. In keeping with Angela’s wishes, cremation took place. Pallbearers were Cam McMaster, Omar Constant, Donald Head, Gilbert Lathlin Jr., Brent Michelle, Rick Ducharme. Honorary pallbearers were all Angela’s family and friends. If friends so desire, donations for Angela’s children, Rochelle, Alexandra and Phoenix James Trust Fund, c/o Scotiabank, Box 10430, Opaskwayak Cree Nation, MB, R0B 2J0, would be appreciated by Angela’s family.
