Obituary for Arnold Clark

Arnold was born Friday, October 22, 1915 in Duval, Saskatchewan.
Arnold married Dorothy McKenzie June 5, 1942. He started work for the Department of Natural Resources retiring in 1980 after 38 years of service. He then worked for the tree nursery for two years after retiring.
Arnold trapped, hunted and freighted fish in his early years. His work took him to surrounding communities such as Cedar Lake, Moose Lake and Easterville.
Arnold passed away, Thursday, December 23, 2010 at St. Paul’s Personal Care Home, The Pas, Manitoba, age 95 years.
Arnold is survived by his children Mac (Germaine), Carol (Lynn), Don (Shirley), Ginny (Jules), Kevin, Terri and Dean. He also leaves behind a sister Ruby Graham from Abbotsford, BC; 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and relatives too numerous to mention.
Arnold was predeceased by his wife Dorothy (nee McKenzie) February 22, 1992; parents Abbot and Alma Jane (nee Miller) Clark; step-mother Lily; brother Garnet Clark; brother-in-law Alex Graham; sister-in-law Bella Clark (nee Fenner); special companion “Lady” and many other close relatives.
Prayers and visitation was held Tuesday, December 28, 2010, 7:00 pm at the Chapel of Hemauer Funeral Home, The Pas, Manitoba.
The funeral service for Arnold was held Wednesday, December 29, 2010, 11:00 am at the Chapel of Hemauer Funeral Home, The Pas, Manitoba with James Hemauer presiding. Memories of the heart was shared by daughter Ginny and a tribute poem by granddaughter Corrine Wyatt. Scripture reading was proclaimed by granddaughter Trudy Constant. Music ministry was provided by Gary Clark.
Cremation will take place according to Arnold’s wishes.
