With bittersweet emotion, we celebrate the life of Barb, our mother, our friend and the lives she touched forever. Her children, and grandchildren adored her. She suffered a quadruple bypass and a hard battle with breast cancer. She was a fighter! She had a glow that was contagious no matter what she was going through. She always took time to laugh! Mom loved to laugh. Her passion was her children. Mom’s mission was to raise her children in a home, filled with joy and laughter! Barb loved people and encouraged them with spiritual words and loving heart to heart talks. We all have our own personal memories...and to speak of all of ours, would take a lifetime. If you are here, you knew Barb and loved her. She will be loved forever, She is now in peace. Prayers and visitation was held Sunday, November 19, 2011, 7:00 pm at the Chapel of Hemauer Funeral Home, The Pas, Manitoba. The funeral service for Barbara was held Monday, November 20, 2011, 1:00 pm at the Chapel of Hemauer Funeral Home, The Pas, Manitoba with Pastor Betty Olson and Chaplain Tri Truong presiding. In keeping with family wishes, cremation has taken place. If friends so desire, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3C 2B7 would be appreciated by Barbara's family.
