Caroline Huartson

On the morning of July 23, 2014, Carol passed away suddenly at St. Paul’s Hospital in The Pas, MB. Carol was 63 years old. Carol was born in Canora, SK on August 19, 1950. She was the oldest of two children born to Steve and Mary Rebchuk. Carol moved to Snow Lake, MB with her family where she attended school. Carol was working in the cafeteria for HBM&S where she met George Huartson. The two were married on October 25, 1969. They had two children, Dawn and Darcy. Carol and George moved to The Pas. MB in 1990 where she began working in the bakery at Parker’s Foods. Carol enjoyed many activities including fishing, going to the cabin, traveling, cooking andattending teas. She always had an open door to family and friends. Carol was predeceased by her father, Steve and numerous aunts and uncles. Carol is survived by her mother, Mary; husband, George; children, Dawn (Wayne) and Darcy; grandchildren, Jessalyn and Hayden and brother Tharas (Darlene). Carol will forever be remembered as a devoted and loving wife, caring and warm-hearted mother, and trusted and thoughtful friend. A celebration of life will be held at the Huartson residence in The Pas, MB from 1:00 PM to 5:00PM on Saturday, August 16, 2014. Hemaur Funeral Home in The Pas, MB is in care of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to Girl Guides of Canada- The Pas District: P.O. Box 4044, The Pas, MB, R9A 1S5. Vichnaya Pamyat
