Clayton Ernest Guay was born Saturday, May 1, 1948, and was the firstborn child to parents: Benjamin and Elizabeth Guay. Clayton was raised in the communities of Sherridan, Cranberry Portage, and The Pas, Manitoba.
As a young man growing up in these communities Clayton enjoyed hunting, fishing and listening to music. Clayton was an outstanding musician who learned to play many instruments exceptionally well, such as; the guitar, harmonica, banjo and drums. Clayton enjoyed drumming and was an outstanding drummer.
Clayton completed a majority of his education attending high school in The Pas and eventually attended College to complete his ticket to be a qualified Plumber. While Clayton was living in The Pas he did meet that lovely lady and married the love of his life: Sarah Crait. It was in Thompson that Clayton would pursue his second dream to own and operate his own Plumbing and Heating business. Clayton in partnership with another person purchased Irwin’s Plumbing and Heating Business in Thompson, Manitoba. He continued to work at his Plumbing and Heating business for several years before retiring.
Clayton patiently waited for the grandchildren to arrive and his patience would eventually pay off, which made Clayton so very happy. However when the great grandchildren, began to arrive Clayton was over the moon upon their arrival. Clayton loved all his grandchildren and great grandchildren and took great pleasure in bragging about them. Clayton was so proud of them all.
