Demetria was born Tuesday, June 21, 1949, at Villasis, Pangasinan, Philippines to Felix and Lourdes Balmores.
Demetria lived in London, England for many years, then moved to Toronto, Ontario, and recently she moved to The Pas to be close with relatives.
Demetria loved her sister and brother-in-law and her nephews. She enjoyed cooking, reading, travel and listening to gospel music.
Demetria passed away peacefully Thursday, September 14, 2017 at St. Anthony’s Hospital, The Pas, Manitoba, at the age of 68 years.
Demetria is survived by her sister Emelie (Sergio) Gordillo of The Pas; nephew Christopher (Cheryl) and their family Alex, Max, Sophia and Lucas of Edmonton, Alberta; nephew Richard of The Pas; nephew Mike (Kendra) and their family Kenzie and Ryler of Winnipeg, Manitoba; relatives in Maryland, USA and her best friend Trifina from Toronto, Ontario.
Demetria was predeceased by her father Felix Balmores Sr., mother Lourdes Balmores; brothers Felix Balmores Jr., Samuel Balmores and Rolando Balmores.
