Dennis “Chief” Gurny Fenner was born in The Pas Manitoba, Saturday, January 21, 1950. Dennis was a man who enjoyed the simple things in life. He also enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with family and friends. He lived in various places throughout Canada but spent his last remainder of his years in Cormorant., then settling in The Pas where he passed away after a lengthy battle with Cancer, Wednesday, December 28, 2011, at the age of 61 years. Dennis is survived by his sisters Valerie (Mike) Birkholz, Frieda (Beulah) Fenner, Jean (Hank) Fenner, Lizette Fenner, Shelby (Jack) Halliday, Gwen Azure, Kim (Pete) Fenner, Melody (Bart) Azure; brother Joel (Sonya) Ducharme; numerous nieces and nephews. Dennis was predeceased by his father Edward Fenner; mother Rolande Azure; sisters Mary Fenner, Roxanne Fenner, Debbie Azure, Bill Azure Jr., Kendall Azure and numerous other relatives.
