Domithilda Castel

Domithilda was born Wednesday, November 10, 1926 in Pukatawagan, Manitoba. Domithilda was a homemaker who enjoyed beading, the outdoors and tanning moose hide. As an elder, she volunteered for all of the committees in the community. Domithilda was full of laughter, humour and enjoyed the company of her 294 grandchildren, family and friends. Domithilda and Adam were fortunate enough to celebrate 62 years of marriage before Adam passed away. Together they raised 14 children and adopted, in the traditional manner, 3 grandchildren. They were also foster parents to many children. Domithilda passed away Saturday, December 3, 2011 at the St. Boniface Hospital, Winnipeg, Manitoba, at the age of 85 years.
