Douglas Cook Obituary

Douglas was born Saturday, June 2, 1951 in Cumberland House, Saskatchewan to John and Eliza Cook. He grew up in Cumberland House where he took his early education and then decided to work. Douglas started working as a guide for an elder and the Americans that came into the community to go hunting and fishing. In his early teens, Douglas would get on a raft and go spear fishing, moose and grouse hunting as well. Douglas also had a love of music and would dance around. In August of 2014, Douglas was unfortunately diagnosed with cancer. Towards the last weeks of his life he steadily talked about going hunting and his favorite topic was his sister Lillian.
