Eva McCullough

Eva McCullough, (nee Karpick), passed away peacefully, after a brief illness, surrounded by her children, Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at the Grace Hospital, Winnipeg, Manitoba, at the age of 86 years. Eva is the last remaining member of her family being predeceased by her parents, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. She was also predeceased by her beloved husband Gerald, to whom she had been a devoted wife. Eva grew up in The Pas, trained as a nurse there, and moved to Winnipeg to begin her work career. She met her future husband Gerald at the Polo Park golf course, and it was love at first site. Since, they shared the same birthday and year, they decided to share the same wedding day and had 58 wonderful years together! Eva had a long career as a nurse, working at Grace Hospital and retired from Heritage Lodge Nursing Home. Eva's passion was her family: she was a devoted wife, mother and Nana. You could always count on her for help when you called, she was kind, caring and will be missed. Left to mourn her passing, are her children, Tim McCullough, Ken (Cheri) McCullough, Kathleen McCullough, Sharon (Ed) McLellan, Linda (Kerry) Hampton; her grand-children Lindsey (Ashby), Jenna, Cale, Lisa, Jeremy, Stephan (Alyssa), Breanne, Dawn (Ray), Tyler; and her great-grandchildren Liam and Peyton. There will be no formal service as per her request.
