Eva Morach Obituary

Eva Evelyn Morach daughter of the late Joe and Eleanor McKay, was born Tuesday, August 25, 1942 in The Pas, Manitoba. She was the dear wife of Walter Morach and beloved mother of Joe (Denise), Wally Jr. (Crystal), Rob (Shirley), Jim (Shelley), Judith (Daniel) and Ron (Laura). Eva lost her courageous battle with a severe illness on Monday, November 1, 2010 at the Health Sciences Center, Winnipeg, Manitoba. Eva was a woman that dearly loved life and showed it in her daily activities deeply respecting her Creator Jehovah God (Ps.83:18) and always taking the time to nourish her faith by reading the Bible daily. Eva was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, June 8, 1991 and was ordained as a minister of the “Good News of Jehovah’s Kingdom” doing her very best to follow the scriptures (Matt.24:14). Eva’s faith and godly devotion to declare Jehovah God’s promises (Ps.37:9-11 also verse 29) for all honest hearted and obedient people lead her to use her native language in Cree to witness in many communities travelling with and accompanying many full-time ministers of Jehovah’s Witnesses to many outlying areas. She especially enjoyed going to Norway House and Cross Lake, Manitoba, also to Grand Rapids, Easterville, Sturgeon Landing and of course the area around The Pas. As her health declined, she never complained and looked to the future when the Kingdom that is mentioned in “the Lord’s prayer” at Matt.6:9,10 would rule the entire earth and the blessings of Rev.21:4 would be fully realized through the ransom sacrifice of the only-begotten Son of God, Jesus Christ. Eva’s faith and family was really her stronghold and that’s what gave her comfort and helped her maintain a positive spirit. Eva’s desire was to make one more trip to Cross Lake to witness, she loved the people she met and often spoke of them. She would speak to different ones when she went shopping in The Pas. Eva was ready with her passport to go to Minnesota to see Joe and his family. Eva loved her family unconditionally and prayed that they too would turn to Jehovah God and Jesus Christ and put themselves in line for life on a beautiful paradise earth. Eva was a very devoted wife and Wally loved her very much often singing to her and Eva would laugh and say: “Oh, that Wally!” Eva always cooked and baked anticipating that her children and grandchildren would come out to Clearwater Lake and visit and enjoy her hard work. Her husband, Wally, made a pretty “fantasy garden” for her and Eva also enjoyed the birds which would come to feed at the feeders Wally had put up. Eva was an industrious woman and very hospitable, eager to learn new things. She enjoyed trading recipes with special friend Rose and canning the produce from Wally’s gardening. Eva’s family will miss her deeply as well as all her grandchildren Zachery, Jessalynn, Nicholas, Sarianne, Annelyse and Matthia McKay; Selina, Samantha, Vanessa, Joel, Danielle, Alexa, Avery, Everett, Sumerlyn, Jackie, Shayla, Summerdawn, Dylan, Hannah, Mikhael and Brandon; great grandchildren Alexa, Emmalee, Makaylee, Camden, Jordyn; and relatives too numerous to mention. She also leaves a painful void in the lives of her spiritual brothers and sisters at the Kingdom Hall. We were all so blessed to be a part of Eva’s life. Resting in Jehovah’s memory—Job 14:14, 15; John 5:28,29.
