Gavin was born Wednesday, February, 10th, 1993, at St. Boniface Hospital, Winnipeg Manitoba, to Lori Ann Cook and Don Turner. He lived in Winnipeg, National Mills, Swan River then eventually moved to The Pas. While Gavin was living in the Pas he worked at Fatboys Restaurant and roomed with one of his co-workers and best friend Dwayne “Junior” Richard. Some of Gavin’s nicknames were “Gambino”, “Gaz”, “Gavy Gavy Doo”, and “Spaz”. Gavin enjoyed listening to music, playing his XBOX ONE, rollerblading, jogging, hanging out with his brother Marlon and friend Junior. He had a one-of-a-kind personality and was a kind-hearted son, brother, nephew, cousin, godson and grandson. Gavin passed away Sunday June 7th, 2015, at The Pas, Manitoba, age 22 years.
