George McNabb Obituary

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of George McNabb, husband, father, brother, grandpa, great grandpa, uncle, son-in-law, Sunday, May 3, 2015, at Moose Lake, Manitoba, at the age of 64 years. George was born Thursday, March 22, 1951 at Moose Lake, Manitoba. George was united in marriage to Margaret Campbell, Friday, October 6, 1989. George was a fisherman, trapper, an elder of the House of Prayer, as well as numerous other jobs. George loved spending time with his grandchildren, great grandchildren. He loved visiting with others and to go to church and praise the Lord, that he served for many, many years. He always had a smile on his face and was loved by many who knew him. George especially enjoyed spending time with his chapan Zachariah Campbell. He loved this boy who was a joy to him. He also loved visiting Pastor Joseph Campbell Sr. and his family. George loved travelling for church with his granddaughter Jeanette Campbell and her family. He loved to sing for the Lord daily. He would talk to Allard John late at night and liked to give everyone a wake up call in the mornings. “George was a loving and kind person to everyone in sight and praising the Lord at all times. I’d phone him up late at night and picked up the phone and listen to him from the past and present. We’d love to talk about the Lord, what he had done for us and we’d agree with each other with the word of God in one accord filled with the Holy Spirit upon us. And I loved him dearly and now he’s gone to a better place. He left us with broken hearts but taught us that Jesus was our healer.” George is survived by his daughter Syvonne Lambert; sister Ophelia (John Edward) Patchinose; brothers Donald (Cecilia) McNabb, Solomon (Hazel) McNabb, Robert Sr. (Flora) McNabb; adopted brother and sister Chief Jim Tobacco and Mildred Tobacco; grandchildren Kendall, Kirk, Denzel, Dana, Richelle, Michelle, Dwayne Jr..
