James Louis Chartrand was born Friday, May 16, 1952 at St. Anthony’s Hospital, The Pas, Manitoba to Marie and Colin Chartrand. He was raised in Moose Lake and moved to The Pas and Opaskwayak for a few years. James’s hobbies were fishing, trapping and spending time with family and friends. He had a sense of humour and made people laugh. James passed away with family by his side, Saturday, July 6, 2013, at 9:15 pm at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, at the age of 62 years. James is survived by his son Colin James; sisters Dorothy, Myra, Lizzie; brother Peter; auntie Irene Moore; and many relatives and friends, too numerous to mention. James was predeceased by his parents Colin and Marie Chartrand; sisters Martha, Freda, Sheila and Linda; brother Allan; and many uncles, aunties, nieces, nephews, too numerous to mention.
