Johnny was born near Cormorant on April 6, 1938. The younger of two sons born to Simon and Maryanne Nabess. On Monday, December 16, 2013 at St. Paul’s Personal Care Home, The Pas, with his wife Audrey by his side Johnny was called home by his Creator. John spent his early years in Cormorant and The Pas area. He enjoyed many adventures throughout Canada while he worked and visited. He always came home to spend time at the Trapline and Mile 32 where he loved to be. He married his forever love Audrey on May 19, 1990, together they had four children and 7 grandchildren. 1 great grandchild and his step daughter Anna Genaille and her 4 children. Later in life Jack enjoyed old time music, playing cards, his nephews, granddaughters and his huge extended family in Cormorant where he lived until he moved to St. Paul’s Personal Care Home in The Pas. In John’s passing he remains in the hearts and memories of his wife Audrey; their children: Justine, Mary (Leo), Tina (Gil) and Randy (Maddy); his grandchildren Elise, Broline and Gracie; step daughter Anna Genaille and her children Dale, Christopher, Jeremiah, Joanne; his 14 Brothers-in-Law, Sisters-in-law and their families, his children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. John has many family members awaiting him in Heaven especially his grandparents Louis and Justine Nabess, Baptist and Marguerite Dumas; his parents Simon and Maryanne Nabess; his only brother and teacher James (Jim) Nabess Sr.; his sons Keith and Peter; his grandson Brolie Prince; his father-in-law and mother-in-law Zebras and Grace Genaille along with many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends too numerous to mention.
