The image of your precious smile
is how we see you to this day.
The shyness of the gentle touch you gave to your dad
as he held you in his arms.
The playful ways showed how tough you were as you grasped your granny’s ears and nose and giggle away
with that big gorgeous smile.
How everyone longs to hold you again and again but the good Lord seen you and said it was time for his precious Lewis to come home where there is no pain, no aching, but a beautiful place where you can run, laugh and enjoy the company of the beautiful angels, North, East, West and South.
As you steal every single heart beat in all of us,
please come and say it’s okay, even in our dreams
we open our hearts to you, precious Lewis,
as thoughts and beautiful memories go through our minds.
Lewis was born Wednesday, November 1, 2006 in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
